I do like the 1 with the usb cos I can plug a card reader and any size of mem stick in it, like the 4GB SD which is only $35us so cheep and user frendy no need to burn on CD or CD-rw

I have an alpine head unit (it is about 10months old) and the user interface on it is appalling - in fact I think they must have tried really hard to make it as bad as they have. Friend showed me his Pioneer and it was much much better.
Alpine is very good for music but ok for dance , I think.
