I am new on this forum and I have a problem with a part that broke on my 530i (2004) with M54 enginge.
I noticed my tensioner squiking, so I examined by pulling out the hydraulic tensioner and its components, only to realize the base plate had broke, along with what is displayed in the images. I have ordered a new base plate. But I would like to know what the mount behind it is called.
As you can see in the images it broke in the middle. And it needs to be replaced.
