My Ride: 545 SE Auto in Black
right as a bif chunk of mods have been ordered I need to invest in an induction for my 545, problem is I'm not sure what one to go for. I have seen a AFE Power Flow Intake Kit for a 550 I assume that I could mod this to fit my 545?????.Question is what are you guys running out there on yur 545?

I know of only two CAI products offered for the 545i, modified AFE and Dinan. I'm not sure if any of the European tuners have anything available.

yes that preety much what i have found, my friend hasthe Dinan on his car, butI prefer cone.Looks like i will go for the AFE one any good companies to buy it from I was thinking BAvarian Autosport, unless we have a supplier or sponsor on this site that I could pay :-)

Just search for the cheapest vendor selling the AFE CAI. Hopefully, the shop that will be doing the install is creative. I've highlighted in red what needs to be modified. The link for more pictures is here.

I got my AFE CAI from AutoAnything.com. Shipping was free and no tax. Most of the places I searched online, all had the same price of $295.

looks easy enough to do, look at the pics carefullky the CAI for the 550 looks like the MAF sensor is bigger then the 545, they have put a plate there to cover the bigger hole and then made holes in the plate for the 545 sensor to fit in shouldnt be to hard to do
mods like theses are always fun!
