Okay to complicate matters a bit more even after all that I've said.........how about brushed aluminum in diamond cut? CarLab showed me a set of wheels from VIP Modular that looks sort of like my R10s only they had a brushed aluminum finish that the guy said was done diamond cut. The effects look like brushed aluminum but more on the polished side and shiny. It looked great. Not sure what the cost would be to get them done that way.

I'm also having my R10s finished to go on the M5 so I was thinking of doing hyper black on polished lip but they quoted me $1600. Scratched that idea. Just going to have the wheels repolished, cleaned up and clear coated.

thats the other idea, but i heard brushed aluminum is just a nother name for machined finish and diamond cut is just another name for brushed alumnimum i would love to see pics of what you are talking about, i want to take the wheels to this guys shop and say this is what i want. i do like the finish on the BBS but im not so sure how they will look on my wheels. I don't think im going with paint though thats for sure.

Here's their website. The wheel I saw was the VR 05 and it was going on an Alpine White E60. Can't really tell from the pics here though.

Hey Ron. Sorry if I confused you. The wheels weren't mounted yet on the AW E60. He's still waiting for his suspension. I don't have any pictures of the wheels either.

Ron, check this out: http://forums.e60.net/index.php?showtopic=39332

Got pics of those wheels for you but I figured I'd start a new thread so other people can see them as well.

this is a high polish?
That's the BBS wheels for the Japanese market. It's not the LM but it sure looks quite similar. It is silver finish.

Quick Reply: what finish on this wheel?
