My last 2 mods are:

1. Hartge Front Splitter
2. KW V3 Coilovers

I'm sending my ECU out to RPI/Powerchip in 2 weeks when the wife and I are on vacation, so that doesn't count. I think that will be it for the M though. I can't imagine there being much more of anything else. Did I miss something???

My new focus is now on the X5. I've been spending quality time on X5World working on new mods for that beast, which arrives in early Feb. This is my focus for 2009.

This forum sucks! I spend way too much money on my cars because of your people.

1) M-tech side skirts (may end up being last on my list considering cost)
2) H&R Sway bars
3) OEM M6 166 wheels & tires
4) iPod iDrive retrofit (came in mail today from Garry )
5) Two scratches fixed that were on the car when I picked it up last month
6) 50% Tint all around (want 35% or 40%, but 50% is the law in OH)
7) BSW Stage I Audio Upgrade
8) LED lights, just need to keep researching what to get.
9) Athracite headliner (a dream)

Thought I wouldn't need to do anything to this car given all the options it has. That is, until I found this web site.

Let me help you tally up that cash total for those extensive mods, sir!!!! (Since they are very similar to what I've done and will do.)

I would guess, (including paint, labor, etc) around $6,580.00 USD

I've spent almost $6k on my car since I got it in July.......08.

Really? Remember, this is for the M, not a non-M car, so it sits just like the Hamann Splitter does on a non-M car. It will look similar to yours, except it will follow the contour of the lower bumper instead of having the gap.

It's actually too late. The part is already painted. I just have to wait for the delivery of my X5. I kind of have a pact with my wife that I can't add anything to the front of the car until her car arrives. She tore off my Hamann Splitter on the 530, so she's concerned about doing it again. Once her X5 comes though, she said I could sleep in the car, for all she cares. Hahahahaha!

This is bonehead's (Ed) car (Silverstone II, just like mine). This is the Hartge Fromt Splitter just for the M5. It sits within the contours of the front bumper and doesn't protrude like the one for non-M cars does. I like this. I also like how it doesn't have the gap, like the Hamann. (The Interlagos Blue M5 (Neils old car) has the Hamann).
