The M6 wheels go well with the E60. This wheel style ranks high on my list for BMW OEM wheels. As for going with replicas, I too have read about issues with fitment needing hub rings to make them centered. I would try to go with OEM if I were to go with M6 wheels.

I hear there is something called the M5 offset and the M6 offset for the m167s. Does that apply only to the OEMs or to the replicas too and would that mean the OEM m167s are available in different offsets - one for M5 and another for M6?
And offset....the lower the number the better they are at sticking outwards(more aggressive)? Which M6 replicas have the most aggressive (lower number) offsets?

I had the reps before, put was not satisfied with them, but as soon as I put on the oem m6 wheels, it was a night and day difference. Also, the oem ones are forged, they are much lighter than the reps.... here are some pics of the wheels on my car....sorry for the poor quality pictures, they were taken off my phone.

M6 Wheels were the original wheel choice I was going to go with, until I noticed how many people had this wheels on their E60's. That's pretty much what made me change my mind about them, I still think they look great on an E60 though.
