What is the difference between the MTech from bumper and the M5? This Hammon front lip will fit the Mtech but not a M5....I have a 2008 550i with the sport package....will this fit?

My understanding is the M-tech front has a smaller air damn than the M5 (the balck plastic bit), the M5 front does not have fog lights and it is also wider as the M5 front wheel arch panels are wider to accomodate large diameter tyres.

there's a specific hamann splitter for the mtech front and a specific one for the M5 front. what makes them different is the lower portion of the bumper. on the M5, it points more inward on each side or more flat, and the mtech the pieces point more outward.

what about the fog light housings...arent they different for the mtech versus the m5 bumpers...i read somewhere here that we would need to change foglight housings if we convert from stock bumper to an mtech bumper but that if we convert to an m5 bumper it uses the same foglight housings as stock???
can someone confirm this please? Thanks
