Wait til Presley sees this one!!!!! The answer is.......it depends on who you ask. Some will say, nothing. No difference, smarter money buys the replica. Others will say, nothing but OEM for their BMW. Personally, it all depends on your priorities. What are you looking for in a wheel? That question should be answered first. Some replicas are dead balls accurate in every way, shape and form. Others are not. You must do your research.

Hi Orientblue530i:

I tried the Wheel exchange with their Parallel M replicas and had all kind of balancing problems with them at first, it cost my $75.00 more dollars to get them SONAR Road Force balanced to elevate the problem. I also had some appearance problem with one that cost me an additional $160.00 to get Straighten out!

Even though they were now fixed at my expense $$$$, I was just sick and tired of the replica rim thing from: The Wheel Exchange, and I sold those replicas, and purchased new BMW OEM 71's and man these OEM 71's rides smooth as glass. I was told by my BMW dealer, yes the are some good Replicas out there, but they knew of none that worked as well as and Factory OEM rim that is designed to work on our e60.

Hope this helps!

Sincerely,

R. Eddie Presley

======================

I do not know anything about AC schnitzer. I only have actual experience from the BMW Replicas that I purchased from a Mr. Nathan Williams and a Joe from "The Wheel Exchange". (Sorry)

IMHO, sticking with OEM is the way to go. You dont save all that much money, and the BMW name is behind them. Just my 2 cents.

Hi LuvE60,

IMO: What you said is so true about staying with BWM OEM, (SEE ABOVE). These are high tech fine rides that we drive, and I have learn the hard way trying to save a few pennies, (LOL), and had some major cosmetic & balancing issues from the BMW Replica wheel company , that I purchased from at the first of the year.

In conclusion: I am sticking with most everything I buy from an authorized BMW Dealer.

Sincerely,

R. Eddie Presley
