+1 I got mine in black, was going to go red but since it's only on one side I think its looks off without the other scoop, if I had the dinan dual air intake I would maybe get 2 scoops in red though. In black the scoop is barely visible which I like because sometimes water drops and bugs stain the scoop making it hard to clean behind the grills thus in black it is alot less noticeable to see.

Bugs aren't an issue - remember that your intake is a stock option...BMW already thought about that, as did RPI

Yes, I understand that the RPI scoop functions with the ram air concept (which was popular during the era of American muscle cars). Must juice the highway passing power a bit.
