What is the best looking wheel on a sport model E60 (non Mtech)
#1
I was wondering what the consensus opinion is as to the best wheel/tire combo. I'm not talking about modded cars, no lowering springs, body kits, etc. What makes our cars look best and handle well? I have a 535i with sport pack. Stock wheels look OK but I know there are other factory and afetrmarket options that are better. Just replacing the RFT's will save 5 lb per corner and have to ride better. Does reduced off set harm the handling or steering? Are the factory 124's heavy or are they competitive weight wise? If you have pictures I would love to see what you all think are the best looking stock bodied and stock ride height E60's.

its all very relative to what you like need and use.... I have 124's they are good, but as soon as I can I will move on to 172 M 19" rims. Which I think looks best in lightly kitted or non kitted cars. Look through the galleries ans search, you may find what you like , like I did.

OEM is your best bet (ie. 166(M5 wheel) or 167 (m6 wheel)) if you don't want to get aftermarket wheels. If you do plan getting aftermarket wheels, go BIG (20").

My car came with the 18" 124's and I think it's a good looking wheel especialy for OEM however I love the M5 wheels and that would be my top choice if staying OEM.
I have had a LOT of cars and can't leave well enough alone, the only wheels I like better than stock are BBS, you get what you pay for in wheels. BBS also happens to make OEM BMW wheels.
I have a set of BBS LM's off my old E46 M3 that I was going to sell. Turns out they fit my 545i if I use 20mm spacers in the front. I just had the tires changed from M3 size to 545i size and they are going on in the spring
