Hi
Its soon winter here in Norway and the temperature where I live can fall down to -30dgrC.
So I want to install a Webasto system in my 525d. There is no preinstalled webasto in my car just some kind of electrical heating system.
My BMW dealer shall have almost 6000 Euro for an original system.
Another supplier I have checked says that a original Webasto system costs around 2400Euro with installation.
But there is no kit to connect this to the cars ventilation system.
So what I need is the electrical drawings for the ventilation/aircondition system.
Can anyone help?
Or do anyone have any experience with installing a Webasto (or similar) heting system in their car?
I hop someone can help so I can get a warm start on cold winter mornings.

Electrical heater is part of cooler what helps coolant to heat up faster and you to get more heat inside the car. BMW installed webasto is integrated in the iDrive and car's aircon system, so this might be expensive ad on afterwards.
I have factory installed thing and it is 2300,- ? worth of option in Finland.

Don't know it this will help but there is a document describing the HVAC system in the Technical Gallery here. They aren't schematics but there is some good information about how things are connected in the "system overview" portion of the document:
