The thing is guys..... I'm fat! .... and lazy!
Is it that simple? Take off the wheel, take off the pad, spray it and put them both back on?
Also will the color stay after a couple of winter's?

Chances are, brake pad dust will change the color of the painted calipers before time does~
Plus it lightens the car by 0.0001 lbs.

I've had to paint my calipers twice, they chip pretty easy. Powder coating is probably the best way to go if other than buying the bbk

How different would the powder coating be? No chance of chips or flakes?
Where can you even get that done?
I kind of wanted to stay away from taking the calipers and rotors off, because a friend told me that you would need to flush out the air in the brakes or bla bla bla.. something like that!

2 days after I painted my calipers in which I changed my front pads to ceramic but kept the rears stock, they looked like s*it!! The fronts looked brand new still and were bright red but the rears were sooooo dirty from brake dust. 1 week later I changed my rears with ceramic pads and repainted the calipers. Its been 2 weeks and they still look like I painted them yesterday. If your going to paint you calipers think about changing your pads if your still running stock bmw pads that emit tons of brake dust.
