What changed your mind about the scoop?

I have mine in black...but I bought some blue paint when I got it to give it a different look just never got around to it!

Yeah, I did the same thing--grilles first, then got the scoop. I went with black because I was moving away from red to a more silver and black look. Like others have said, it would be very easy to go with red and then paint it black later. Of course, that will mean yet another grille removal.

PS: Be wary of advice from anyone who even mentions wearing a silver jacket.

I think people are right when they say the red doesn't go well with the silver. I say, get a black scoop, and paint it BLUE!!! Blue looks hottt with silver
