Is anybody here familiar or have experience with Vossen Wheels? How are they? How are the paint on them? Durable, chip easily, etc...? Strength?

http://www.vossenwheels.com

Their VVS-CV1 wheels keep calling me...but I can't afford them...yet...hopefully...

Thanks,

Balbs

CV1's are hot!!! The new satin finish Vossen came out with are a lot better than the old version.

I hope they come out with 19" version. I want a little more meat for pothole protection. If not, I'll live with the 20". I like them so much that those are the only wheels I would settle going to 20" for.

If you really think about it, the tire size you're going to get with 19's are 245/35/19 in the fronts and 275/30/19's in the rear. It's the same spec except in 20's so you're really not getting anymore protection than you think.

I'm sure plenty of people will like it, I'm not a fan of it though. Looks like a wagon wheel or something.

Oh I'm sure a crap load of people won't like it. I'm more concerned about Vossen Wheels in general as far as quality goes. If anybody here in the forum that has honest negative experience or has seen negative quality feedback on Vossen Wheels, I would take note of it and I won't hesitate in dropping them off my list no matter how much I like the wheel.

Just got an email from them that the 19" VVS-CV1 is expected to be released in 4-5 months.

Yeah, but there's that extra 1/2" distance between the rim and the outer tire diameter for a little more cushion.
