Does anyone know how all the new BMW's have their AE's visible during the day? Are they equiped newer headlights or are the new Bimmers come programmed with daytime running lights and AE rings to be on at the same time?

I'm still getting familiar with the car. But I would like for my angel eyes to only be on during the day, instead of the inner yellow lights too. When its on the auto position it believe angel eyes and yellow lights are on as well. What position do I need it in for only angel eyes to be on?

I believe it needs to be in the parking light position, so one clockwise click if I am correct....

The DRL activation for the halos is only for the 08+ models and came with the slight E60 facelift. You can upgrade the look of your pre-08 angel eyes with our Predator ICE but to my knowledge, there is no way to wire them as DRLs at the moment.

You can, however, get rid of the inner yellow DRLs through a dealer reflash.
