I have a dime size whole in my 550i hood and i was wondering if there was any tricks on to wrapping it while covering up the hole so you cant see it anymore???
Since the hood is aluminum a couple body shops wont even give me a quote on repair costs and some said to just get a new hood and thats over 1,000 to get it and paint it....so i was just going to CF wrap it until i get a new hood....
ANY tricks to wrap over a small hole would greatly be appreciated!!!

Can you take a picture? If its a clean hole, meaning there is not any deformity in the area around it you could grind the area or disc sand it with a 36 g course, removing the paint. Use it from a drill with a disc on it. Tap around the hole with a punch to lower the metal surface ~ 1/16 - 1/8". Apply tiger hair, this is a bondo product with strands of fiberglass that will add quite a bit of structure. After it dries, use the grinder to level it just so it's below the surface. Next apply a thin layer of bondo and when it dries use 80 g sand paper and a sanding block to level and finish off with 180. This should now fill in your complete area that you lowered. Apply primer let dry then wet sand it with 320 and reapply primer. At this point you should be good to go for a wrapping!

Yeah, it sure does. So it looks like the may have been drilled. I just didn't know originally from your description if it had been punctured and this would have caused damaged around the area. If you fill it you should be able to wrap it and depending on how good you do you might not even be able to tell.

if your going to replace the hood eventually, or vinyl wrap it...i would just sand the area down a little, JB weld a filler plate. a little bondo, sand smooth, primer, wet sand, and vinyl wrap over it.

yeah i might just do that...im wanting to get the penta style hood but the cheapest i found it for was 1325 shipped to my door. I got to wait though because i just spent $525 on replacing a $1.20 alternator bracket/gasket because it was leaking oil like crazy and now come to find out my timing covers have a little leak too....lol
