No, I have a Magna flow exhaust system, but i wouldnt have thought it would of been that loud.
I was actually going for a more quiet sound for my exhaust system, Im trying not to catch the attention of the the cops around here.
(Trying to make my car not as noticeable.)

Not suitable for an E60 ..
After a while you will get sick of it and it will start to drive you crazy. Ask me how I know.

i'm glad that as we approach winter the lower temp is making the exhaust bark even more ferocious.
maybe i should add headers too...

I'm with you on this. I removed the resonator from the E63 and it now sounds like pure American muscle. I liked it at first but now getting tired of it. Getting Renntech exhaust and x-pipe put on to make the sound more European and pleasing to my ears.

I've got to make my exhaust notes more of a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

VT, how many resonators are on the e63? When you removed them/it, did you get any droning at any rpm? I'm discovering that x-pipe don't necessarily reduce sound (though some may claim so) but act to equalize the pressure from the 2 pipes. Some resonators (as I learned) are tuned to remove certain frequencies (usually low 90 hz ballpark).

I see that you are selling exterior parts? are you planning any cosmetics on the ride?
