well sorry didnt know how to put the video on here. So here is the link for it on youtube.

im alittle disappointed in the sound. Plus i thought it was a full catback exhaust.
i thought catbacks had to go all the way to the header?
it sounds great at low rpm's but at high rpm's i cant here it.

my first car was a is300. i had a full catback greddy for it. that sounded better than
my new B&B! what can i do to make it louder? and do not say remove resonators i am not doing that.
i was wondering what would be some good headers and or intakes to look at. to make the whole setup be louder?
without losing power or sound?

thanks and enjoy
jeff

I think it sounds good man. Don't be so hard on yourself.

PS - I like the special lighting effect with the headlights.

why not? removing your resonators will address all your complaints....
when i removed mine, my remus exhaust got a bit louder, i got more of a bark at high rpm instead of the then current "whoosh", and i effectively made a catback system.

that's probably the easiest way to make it louder, unless you switch the b&b for straight pipes or a louder custom muffler.

for the 545, there's only 2 CAI's i know of - dinan and afe, and with the afe you'll have to buy the 550i version and mod it to fit. for headers, there's rdsport, g-power, also maybe hamann and supersprint. but headers will set you back at least $2k.

ps: whatever you do, there probably isn't a way to make our cars as loud at high rpm as it is at low rpm. i've tried and heard many different exhaust combos and i've come to the conclusion that its just the way our 4.4 v8's sound. it is built for low end torque, not high end power, like on an e60 m5. it seems the sweet spot for the 545's sound is from 2k rpm to 3k or maybe 4k rpm. however, different exhaust combos can extend the loud volume a bit from one rpm range to another rpm range. that's what replacing my resonators with straight pipes did for me.
