E60, E61 Parts, Accessories and Mods Discussion about both stock and aftermarket parts for the E60. Accessories and modifications too!

Very stupid noob question.

My brother will be on his way to pick up a used e60 M5 cluster for me assuming I win it in eBay.

My question is whether or not the needles on the M5 cluster can be used on my non M e60 when Simon does the cluster mod for me later this afternoon.

If it matters, I'm LCI but I don't know whether the M5 is or not.

Thanks in advance for responding!

And yes, I was very impulsive for bidding before I even found out the answer to my question, haha. If it doesn't fit, anyone in the market for an M5 cluster? Haha...

Welp, finally did it. Changed the painted needles to the M5 ones.

Didn't seem to unduly affect the cluster when I skipped unplugging the battery when calibrating the needles too.

Glad I made the change! Thanks Simon and Jorge for the cluster mod and the relay install for my AE's too!
