My Beltronics died about a year ago so I've been radarless since then and have not had a single ticket. I've wanted a v1 for some time so I finally picked one up off eBay. My question for the v1 owners is do you have the concealed displays? I'm not sure if it would be a big benefit but they are pretty cheap. I'm looking to hardwire the setup too.

How does the Sunvisor clip keep the detector level??? and there's no problem with tint is there? I have a little tint in the top of my front window and the back is done.

I have mine hard wired using a cord from invisicord invisicord.com they are inexpensive and you don't have to put the direct power box that comes with V1 in rood, which is too bulky. You can find a great write up here: E60-V1 Hardwire hope that helps
