hi to everyone ..i read here a lot about the ipods but i dont understand how do u conect them into the car (is there a usb conector)?
First, you can use the AUX on the back of the central pedestal to connect your ipod. You can also have an additional AUX fitted in the glove compartment if you talk to the dealer.
Second, there is an ipod kit that can be retrofitted to your car that gives you an USB connector in the glove compartment. You will lose the CD changer. With the USB connection you can control the ipod using the buttons on the steering wheel or by using the idrive. The USB also charges the ipod.
Third, with the facelifted E60 you can now order an USB connector at the back of the center pedestal that will integrate your ipod.
Forth, if you have a car without an AUX or USB you can still use an FM transmitter to feed your cars stereo with ipod music.
