Hi Guys,

I was reading through your topics and decided to ask for your guidance since I am running into some interference problems in my 2004 e60 530i.

I just installed:

* Infinity 4' 2-way speakers in the front doors and rear deck.
* Upgraded my tweeters to L7
* 4-channel Infinity amp
* 2- 12' Infinity subs
* 1500W Monoblock amp
* Audiocontrol LC6i sound processor

I have the basic stereo system.

I plugged the speaker lines from the head unit to the LC6i sound processor and from there I took RCA outputs to the amps.

After everything was properly connected, I have been testing my set up, and I am getting interference, also, the LC6i has a MAXIMIZED INDICATOR that when it turns on (should be off most of the time), it indicates when my head unit's speaker signal level is to high for the LC6i, I don't understand why my Headunit is saturating my LC6i sound processor...??

The interference seems to come and go, for example, if I pump up the Infinity amp gains to say 80%, the interference seems to improve, now, WHEN I LOWER THE GAINS TO ALMOST 20%, THE INTERFERENCE IS HORRIBLE, why would that be?

I am pretty sure this problem is not in the LC6i nor in the amps, it comes from the headunit, but what could be my problem.

Please help me, I would greatly appreciated.

Many thanks
