For reps, it's not that much cheaper..... I would suggest going OEM instead. Also, it looks like that some parts are not included or not necessary from the big red X on the pic......? Well, when in doubt, go safe!!!
$349 umnitza
$655 oem from gerry
its a pretty good deal imo

The whole kit will cost you $899.97 and getting OEM from Garry will cost ~$1270.00 before shipping. Getting the reps you will be spending another ~$150.00 for brackets. So total amount you save on the rep kit would be about ~$220.00, roughly. If the $220 is worth it to anyone, do it. To me its not that much of a difference for a guaranteed fitment and quality.

Its good if you are looking for just 1 bumper. For the whole kit, I'd opt for the OEM.

to be fair, if you factor in our shipping which is usps and the shipping of OE by freight only usually, you save about 500-700 on them.
Plus these are the same as oe fitment. keep freight in mind when you factor in pricing.
Also, we are getting word that there was a problem with the container, it's looking like Feb 23rd might slip to 28th Will definitely keep everyone informed as much as possible.
We might be able to do something on the sides. We are definitely also ordering the M5 bumpers but those will have to be on the next shipment.

well tischer bmw send them by ups and they said shipping for whole kit is 150.... i honestly trust ups more than usps... usps they just leave stuff on the ground even though i have to sign.. also regular usps truck wont fit the whole kit...

My Ride: 2006 BMW 330ci cab - Jet Black - Black Leather - Premium Pkg - Sport Pkg - Auto - Heated Seats - Navigation - Xenon - Premium Sound - iPod - Bluetooth
Pricing Facts for M-Tech Kit (OEM vs. Replica):
Umnitza Replica - $899.97 + $125.00 shipping = $1,024.99 (If you also need to purchase brackets at $150, which someone else mentioned, then it's $1,174.99)
Tischer OEM - $1,295.00 + $150.00 shipping = $1,445.00
Garry at BMW of Newport OEM - $1,267.50 + $180.00 shipping to Cincy = $1,447.50
I am not going to give any opinions, just tell you my experience. I sent two emails and a telephone call to Umnitza asking for installation instructions & a part diagram over a five day period, before I was able to get the part diagram I posted earlier in this thread. Called Garry for a quote for the kit yesterday, and also asked if he could send me the OEM installation instructions. I received them via email within 10 minutes, and didn't even place the order for the kit.
Discussion here, Kit only. If you want just front bumper or side skirts, you might look at this differently.

We have never had this kit in inventory and rather than provide people with faulty information, we had to confirm that these parts were coming in the configuration that we had ordered and in the style that we had ordered them in (meaning just Mtech for now, no M5 and with all the features like PDC, non-PDC, etc.). We'd rather take an extra couple of days to make sure all the parts are correct than arbitrarily put parts up on the site and "hope people buy and deal with the fall out".
If Phil could actually explain the size of this bumper, there is simply no way UPS is $150. It would be $150 just for the front bumper. DIM = 60X24X40 just for the <-- that's for the front. The rear should be about the same by itself. The sides skirts are irrelevant as they fit into one of the boxes with the shipment. I just did this from 94520 (our code) to a TX address - and I got a: ">>> Package exceeds the maximum size total constraints of 165 inches (length + girth, where girth is 2 x width plus 2 x height)." So I'm not sure where they get $150 for just the package. Best to double check.
Pre-orders are receiving 50% off shipping right now. So that $125 shipping is actually $60. We take a hit in return for locking up your order for you, which allows us to a) better plan out inventory b) not actually have to fit the bumpers into our warehouse on arrival (no small task) and c) get other parts going into those places.
The bumpers are coming from Taiwan, on a 40' container. The parts come with everything you need for install but not with the parts illustrated above with the big X through them.
If any of you have any questions, feel free to email us or post here, we'll do our best to answer them.
