Good luck on your install superhung and thanks for the info via P.M. I'm in your area quite often would you like to get togetehr and do a friendly comparison?
So far no live comparison of the V3 vs Umnitzas product has been done, i think it would be nice to finally compare both and put an end to this chapter. I think this might be fun!

My mechanic has just called and he's telling me that the bulb does not fit! He's tried everything. I don't know what the hell to say at this point. I'm going to head down there right now to check it out with my own eyes. I'm not in a good mood right now.

What was the result, what did they tell you?

I was just trying to edit my last post, PLEASE DISREGARD it. It looks like he was talking about something totally different.

Umnitza if you're reading this my mechanic would like to know : where the long Brown wire (87a) and the Red/White (85) wire go in the ECU for DRL. He assures me that it can be done if I get a response or not, but he mentioned it would help. The other wires he has figured out already.

Also, the black and red lines (positive/negative) don't seem to fit in tight with either of the supplied big and small black plastic adapters (pair for E39 & E60). He showed me and it looks like it's loose. For those that have finished the install already, how did you get the red/black wire into the supplied black plastic adapters without it being loose?

Ivan, can i ask if the positive/negative (red & black) wires fit in tight with the supplied black plastic adapters? Those paired big & small black plastic things.

I'm planning to get a set myself, but still want to wait for the side-by-side w/ AIBv3.

They are just right, if he bent the pins a little they will feel loose. NO problem there, just push on the pins from the front up or down. No issues.

As for the DRL, if you pop off the ECU cover, it's the red wire with white stripe at the FRONT of the ECU box towards the front of the car - it's PAIRED with a yellow wire next to it.

I will upload pictures and camera information tonight.

Thanks umnitza...As for the pins, they looked pretty loose to me when he slid them into the connector. He showed me sliding them into both of the connectors just for the hell of it, but didn't do any good. Would it pose a problem if he soldered it? I think this is what he's planning to do for a secure connection.

As for the DRL, I will relay the info to him, but when you mention red wire with white stripe at the front of the ECU box, what wire off the harness taps into that one? The brown wire? Pics would be extremely helpful.
