hey guys.

several of us are interested in getting clear bra's on our front ends and one of our fellow members found Ultimate Auto Care in Orange, Ca

does anyone have a personal experience with these guys? quality of work and products?

or do you have any opinions on specific clear bra and it's quality. i've seen a few clear bra's that literally turns yellow, thus makin' it look pretty ugly.

any opinions, suggestions and/or advice are welcome.....

From the used M5 front bumper that i bought that had clear bra on, here's my personal opinion:

PROS:
- The bumper looks shinier because of it's clear layer
- Seemed like it did its job by protecting the bumper's paint from chipping
- Easy to wipe off dirt

CONS:
- I noticed that the clear bra can also get scratched. Yes i saw quite a few scratch marks on it and it doesn't come off!!
- Scratch marks look ugly if you look closely
- Cost of $300+ is about the same as repainting the whole bumper
- Over time, clear bra looks uglier because it has changed color (A friend of mine has it on his Lexus RX300 and he regrets it)

My verdict? Get the whole bumper repainted when the time comes! John i can show you the bumper and you decide. I was planning the same thing for my car but after seeing this i'm not sure if there's some other clear bra that is perfect and bullet proof!
