(ae welcome lights, running lights, and all other normal functionality is good with zero errors & no VO change)
Look for this option in LM2 .trc, it will be set to enabled by default, switch it to "not enabled" and the two errors are gone.
ADAPTIVE HEADLIGHTS (AHL)
aktiv 01 01 enabled
* nicht_aktiv 00 00 not enabled

I did not make any adjustments to the VO specific to the LM2.

hey just got back to working on this, i had to have surgery and was down for a while.. so i went through and got this flashed with no problems, im going to pull the .trc file, I just want to verify this to get the trc file
1. Load NCSExpert.
2. Load Profile
3. F1 (VIN/ZCS/FA)
4. F3 (ZCS/FA f .ECU)
5. Choose E60
6. Select CAS
7. F6 (BACK)
8. F4 (Process ECU)
9. Select LMA
10. Change job - "FA-READ"
11. then hit EXECUTE
Or do i do this?
1. Load NCSExpert.
2. Load Profile
3. F1 (VIN/ZCS/FA)
4. F3 (ZCS/FA f .ECU)
5. Choose E60
6. Select LMA
7. F6 (BACK)
8. Then "Read ECU"
Once i have loaded it in dummy, and made my changes, then dont I save the trc back as the .man file? The how do I write that file back to the LM module?

FA-WRITE is just for vo coding. FA-read would just read the VO.
for .trc editing. you are want to change to/run job CODERIEN-LESSEN. which would read the .trc of the module you have selected
you would then open the .trc in ncs dummy to make editis. exporting the .man from ncs dummy.
back in expert, you change job to SG-CODERIEN then hit run/program which will code the module with the edits.

Yes, cornering lights, adaptive lights, all working correctly, no faults at all.
You will have to program at least CAS unit as you changing the VO with date production - but I'm not sure if this is necessary step, never tried that.
Preferably all unit with the Expert Profile.

I tried the "pin-configuration" options, both 2 & 3. Neither worked, I set it back to the default 1.
FIXED!!!![Twoup](https://5series.net/forums/images/smilies/imported/twoup.gif)
it seems overly simple but there is an option for "AHL-enable" (something along those lines, 'enable-AHL' or 'AHL-enabled') in the .TRC when reading in NCSdummy.
anyway, set this to not-enable, or not active and it will fix the errors.
I think since there is already an external AHL unit, this option disables the AHL inside the LM only.
No more E51D and E51A errors!!! and the AHL still functions as normal, with solid green light. yay!

Hey,
Do you remember what option you disabled, I can't find anything related to enable_AHL in the light module.
