Track/DD 17 inch wheel fitment with KWv3 coilovers

So I have a 2007 530i with kw variant 3 coilovers. I am looking to get a set of 17inch apex wheels but am unsure about the offsets required due to the coilover strut. I also am very new to offsets so please forgive my ignorance. I would also need help with which tires to select for optimal longevity and 2-3 track sessions per year. I would like to stick with a non-staggered setup so that I can rotate the wheels. I do not want to use spacers if possible. I have also been reading about camber plates...any suggestions?

Thank you all for your help

What wheel widths are you going to run?

Well that is the thing, my stock 123 wheels in 18inch have offsets of 20 and are 8 inch wide and I had to use a spacer to allow it to clear the strut.

I think 8 or 8.5 or even 9 is the most I would want to go if i want a non-staggered setup. Again, I am new to all of this so any suggestions and help is appreciated. Thanks for your comments.

I want to be able to use the widest tire possible with the biggest width wheel for a non-staggered look without spacers if possible. I have decided that 17 inch diameter is the way I would like to go as opposed to 18 inch wheels. Thanks bro

I want to drive my car again without the rubberbands and worrying more about potholes. 17inch wheels will allow me to enjoy the n52 engine again as well as the kw variant 3 coilovers

So a few things. Iirc most Apex wheels are medium to high offset wheels so you will need spacers with any of their wheels. If you run a 9" wide wheel you will need a offset of 10mm (et10) to clear the spring perch. If you go with a 8" wide wheel then you can run a et22 but the face of the wheel will be pulled inward a littler. The rears will need to be et0 which I know Apex wheels for sure don't support.
