I just got my new 19incher + tires install today.
The TPM malfuction lights just wont go away.
I found out later it was the tpms that wasnt in the tires because the tire shop thought I had tpm in the abs system.
Anyhow, now I have to re-mount/install the tpms.
I am just curious are there any difference between universal tpms versus factory ones?
Where could I get them?
Thanks

Just to follow up,
I was told by a local shop that if I get either aftermarket or BERU / Behr tire pressure sensors
I will still need to re-program from the dealership?
Anyone can confirm if this is true?
Thanks

That is definitely FALSE - that shop knows NOTHING about BMW TPMSs! The reset is in the iDtive menu - instructions are in your owners' manual (also available to download in the information section of this forum.)
