Ordered a set of M167s today with M6 Offsets. Looking for tire recommendations.

I'd like to have a nice mix of performance, ride quality, tread life and not too much road noise.

Hopefully I'm not asking for too much.

Sizes I'm planning for are:
245/35/19f
275/30/19r

Are you looking for all seasons (generally longer tread life but less dry road grip) or summer performance tires?

Likely summer performance. I live in Fl so some wet traction would be nice but no snow.

I was just looking at tires too, and I found a great tire for your application made by Bridgestone (Potenza RE 760 sport) It's what I'm leaning toward! :geek: I too am looking for a bit of wet weather prowess (should it EVER rain here again!) :cool:

I was looking at those earlier as well.

There was one Corvette driver who provided a not so stellar review but it seems most comments were positive. Did you look at any other info that whats available on Tire Rack?

I just ordered a set of Sumitomo HTR Z III in the same size for my 172s. Reviews are very good across both BMW and Porsche message boards.

The reviews on the Bridgestones were good ... I almost went for those too but got a better price & deal on the Generals + the 4% MrRebates $$ from TireRack. I'm getting decent use from them and running @ 38F and 42R psi they seem a lot crisper than the slightly softer recommended tire pressures.

For me general UHP's are the best tire on the road. Great feel, quiet and will last forever

The General Exclaims have gotten strong reviews from both the members here and on the Tire Rack owner surveys. They are very inexpensive and last a long time. Some reviews have reported that their sidewalls are not as rigid as a pure summer performance tire so I went with the Hankook Ventus tires which have done extremely well in recent comparos and several of our most respected members really like them. Because I am often in the twisties on weekends, I went with the Hankooks. But you can't go wrong with either the Generals or the Hankooks.

our most popular tire has been the Falken 452s, cant go wrong with them :)
