I currently am running Toyos on my 19's. But I am looking to switch to the General Exclaim UHP, that I see many on the forum using. My rears are wearing much faster than the fronts. Is it a problem to run the Generals on the rear and Toyos on front, until the front Toyos wear completely? I wasn't sure if different tread patterns were a problem. I know back in high school my buddy was always getting new tires on his e36 M3, he rarely had the same tires front and back. Let me know, thanks.
I know on my A4 I had back in the day, I was told not to run different tires. But I believe the reason was, it was Quattro.

its expected that the rear will wear faster than the front. Im not a tire pro, but switching the rear tires out may be fine.
