Ok, I am realizing that modding an XI is not an easy task. I recently purchased a set of H&R lowering springs(not two aggressive). Ordered Eurosoprt Monza wheels 19x8.5(Front) and 19x9.5(Rear), can someone tell me the correct tire size to go with? Will I need spacers? Will the tires fill out properly without spacers?

You probably should ask the guys at 323 MTS. Either way, post some pics once you get the wheels on the car, really interested to see what these wheels look like mounted.

Ok, were do i purchase the spacers?
Front will be fine, but you'll probably want a 5mm to 10mm spacer for the rear for better aesthetics. The ET40 rear should fit, but you'll look a bit tucked if you don't push them out a bit. [/quote] |
I think you should put them on and see first as the most aggresive set up tried was et33 front et38 rear you will find this info on the xi fitment topic. et35 et40 should be fine. As for the tires look on tire rack and check the specs look for Overall Diameter to make sure the front and rear are the same as this is an xi. I ended up ordering a 245 f and 285 r as th 275 di not match the overall diameter of the 245.

:bash: My concern is the 1.5" drop and the tires rubbing...... :barf: I read through many of the xi post and there are many different rim and tire combos.......Very confusing :bash: The rims should be here this week, I will put them on the car and measure the distance from the rim to the fender. If the distance is greater than a 12mm spacer can fill I will try to return them for a ET32 in the rear......
