Anyone know what tire pressure I should go with on my new set-up?

Sizes are 245/35/19 and 305/30/19

The owners manual list for the 245/35F and 275/30R to go with either 35F/39R, 33F/ 38R, or 38F/ 44R.

What should I go with for the 245/35 and 305/30 combo? Should I go with one of the above, or should the bigger rears have more than the above listed?

Tire Rack says 42 in all four, but I'm thinking the pressures should still be staggered.

Thanks for any help

Wow..no responses

I heard back from Hankook.
He said the correct pressure for the new tire size and application would be 27psi on the rear 305's and 30psi on the front 245's. He said I could go up to 36psi on the rear, based on preference. 27psi seems pretty low....he said something about it had to do with the larger internal volume. Still seem too low...and with Tire Rack recommending 42psi in all 4 tires, I'm now confused...lol

I just got my car serviced at the dealership and they re-set all four at 32psi [F: 245 / R: 285]. It was previously set at 36psi for all as Michael recommended.

Avant Grade said F: 36psi, R: 34psi.

Tire rack's 42 psi seems way too high and dangerous(?) especially when it's warm outside. Hankook said 27psi for the rear? That'd wear out your tires quickly.

I think I'm just going to go 36psi all around.

Your set-up is pretty close to the OEM sizes, and I would think you could use the OEM pressures listed in the first post above for 19's.

Everyone I ask tells me something different..including the dealer visits from the past. They always put the OE set-up to 40psi all around, when the decal on the door jam recommends something lower. Yeah, I agree 27 for the rear 305's seems a little too low for me too, but that is what the tire manufacturer is telling me....I currently have 30psi front(recommended pressure for the tire size from BMW) and 34psi rear. I bet if I emailed Hankook again, and got a response back from a different rep, they would tell me something different as well. For kicks, I've got an email in to Nitto...curious as to what they tell me.

I know it's a different animal...but does anyone know what the OEM Pressures are for Porsche 911? Some of them come with the same tire size as me...F:245/35 R:305/30

I think 32 front and 34 rear is the correct pressure with original 17's rims, and perhaps 33-35 will be right at larger wheels.
