Tire Pressure with Aftermarket Wheels

With 20 inch tires most manufacturers recommend between 32 to 35 psi. 32 psi gives you a slight softer ride and "better" performance, whereas 35 psi provides a slightly harsher ride but better gas mileage.

40 is your magic number at all 4 corners. blowing a tire versus a wheel is much cheaper.

+1. My mechanic advised me to increase to 40 from 35 for that exact reason.

i do agree that its better to destroy a tyre rather then the wheel, but comfort and handling shouldnt be too compromised for safety, i guess i'll keep it 36psi front and 39psi rears. THANKS AGAIN for the advice guys
