I don't remember. Ride is very stiff due to coilovers. A lot of members in SoCal however do have the Falkens or Toyos. Come to the meet next week and you can decide

i love my Toyo T1R's the handle well... and so far i have about 15,000 miles on them with very little signs of wear. They are rounded off a little more than the Falken's... and i don't have any rubbing issues at all. They ride quiet, and are very comfortable on the road.. I actually like the ride better than the stock tires i'm riding on right now.. (getting my wheels powdercoated).

toyo T1R's IMO are the way to go. In fact, Vincent @ EuroRev even said that they're a good tire for the e60's.

MacFly also has Toyo T1R's.

The size i'm running are 245/35/20 front and 275/30/20 rear, and the price your getting sounds pretty good too. You could also try my tire guy for a quote if you'd like his name is Wayne at JW Motorsports.. 562-866-1761. He's in Bellflower.. Tell him that Al with the Black 5 series sent you.. I'll PM you the price you should pay....GL and let me know what you end up getting .....

Now hurry up and put those SWEET ASS rims on your car!!!!

Thanks Leggo...I appreciate the info. So far the poll seems lop sided. I was leaning towards the toyos anyway but the price of the falkens had be hesitating for a bit. Now that I know Vincent can hook it up....I think I've made up my mind.
As for the rims...i should have them on for the meet. .....hopefully

Let me elaborate on what Mikey here said,

Well, the Falken's are not as wide as the Toyo T1r's...
Put it this way, T1R 275/30/20 = FK452 285/25/20 in term of width.

Also the Toyo T1r's side wall is round, and Falken's sidewall is square.
T1Rs are preferred for people that like to dump their whips

T1r's sidewall is not as strong as Falken's... Also Falken's are newer.
True, but as of last weekend I've had blow outs on both Falken and Toyo. The Falken did maintain structural rigidity, or what was left of it unlike when I blew out the Toyos. Rocking Yokohama ADVAN Sport now, at least in the rear.

Its your choice. =) You might rub with the T1r's compared to the 452's.
False. More likely to rub with Falken than Toyo.

Didya get all that, Mike?

Good luck dude.
I say Toyo if those are the choices. I don't know anything about the Falken's but I had the Toyo's on for over 50K on the fronts. The rears only went about 30K but the poor wear was mainly due to crappy rear alignment. The Toyo's do not look very wide at all specially the rears in a 275 but may be an optical allusion since there are 2 fairly wide grooves on both side edges that go all the way around the tire. I think they are one of the narrower looking tires on the market but maybe the 285 rears are different. I would have gotten them again but, I'm looking to move to F01 next year and didn't want to put a lot of money in tires...so I got the Yoko's this time. Their OK...a little noisier and look wider (now my fronts rub if I hit big dips or turn into a driveway to fast.)
