I thought it would be interesting to talk about the differencies of different tires' dimensions. Not so much about their features or prices this time...

As everybody knows, tires have their markings to tell about the tire's dimensions, but there's still differencies between manufacturers and different tires. For example if the width is marked as 245mm, it still may be a bit more or less when measuring a specific tire. Also, there are differencies in the tires' shoulder profiles; there are rounder and more angular shoulder profile tires available. These dimensions and shapes may have a decisive significance about will it rub or not, when going extreme with the wheel offsets and widths, and lowering.

To remind everyone, here's a short explanation about what the markings stand for (245/35 R19):
- 245 tells the width of the tire in millimeters
- 35 tells the height of the sidewall as percentage of the width (0,35*245=85,75mm)
- R stands for a radial tyre
- 19 is the inner diameter of the tyre as inches (the wheel size)

I think you got it now what I'm after here, so let us collect this list and discuss about it. If you have a dissenting opinion, please share it!

I already got some tires for the list on a Finnish forum...

Yeah it might be very difficult to tell without a change to do a comparison.
