Hey everybody!

So I have some 20 inch miro time attacks on my 2007 530i and the rear tires are bald almost. Right now, I have 275/30/20 on the rear and I wanted to replace them with some 285/30/20 but then I saw THIS

I know that with the 285s I will have to roll the fenders so i don't rub. I saw this deal and wanted to buy it but I am a little hesistant because I am debating on if it was worth spending the extra money to get the 285's or just get these?

Thanks!

285 purely for looks and you don't necessarily have to roll fenders to get them to fit w/o rubbing; actually i'd guess you dont need to at all.

On the 275's, I only rub when we I have people in the back and am going over some "dips". I think I might just stick with the 275s then...

Stay with the 275. Save money. Live better. I have 285, but mine are 19s.

are you sure your 275s aren't rubbing the inner lining or are you positive it's rubbing the fender?

What tire brand do you have on now? From what I've read, Falkens have a squareish side and corner as opposed to the rounded corner\sidewalls on some other brands (Hankooks for example). If yours are rubbing now, you'll get more wth Falkens. Check their site and compare it to your tires.

Also, I have 275/30/20 (Continental DWS) and I have a slight rubbing in the fender liner when going fast over bumps. I was told that I could just trim and cut a small hole in the fender liner but I'd rather not do that.

Its not about what size tire is rubbing

Its about what offset you have and what tire you install that causes issues.

Offset is very IMPORTANT

Yes - Offset problem. My 285/35-19 have NEVER rubbed but 245/40-19 up front rubs on every bump turn. The sport suspension is a problem on height but the rear width of 285 is just fine. I'm moving to 245/35-19 up front.
