My Ride: 2005 525i - mo mods...just got it

Hey guys,

I am in need of two tires for my 2005 525i living in Florida. What are your thoughts about tires such as NEXEN and FALKEN. They are considerably cheaper than Michelin or GoodYear, but are higher priced tires that much better?

umm before everyone else says it you should probably do some searching cuz the topic on tires and cheap tires and what tires to buy has been beat to death on here.

But to help to with your question I think that you should try looking into a tire called "Exclaim UHP" made by General which is a sister company of Continental. I personally do not have experience with Falken or Nexen but I loved my Generals when I had them on my e46

UHP General Exclaim, cheap, quiet and longer thread life. Of'course this is for daily driving use not track.

Whatever you decide ... it is not recommended you mix tires (or tyres - if you're elsewhere on the planet).
