Tinted Tails on a Silver 5er...?

How do you guys think this would look? I have a silver E60, and I'm actually about to leave to purchase an extra 545i badge to paint that black chrome. Once I have that done, I was thinking about tinting just the clear part (leave the red alone) on the rear lights. How do you think that would look on a Silver....

here's a pic of that same thing done on a white E61

do you have that picture w/out the p-shop on your computer? If so, post it so I p-chop it to see how it would look w/ a lighter tint and a black badge

should I spend the $100+ on this or put this towards my savings 2-3k for some wheels?
