After my bad experience at tintmax (review could be found here) .. I went to The Tint Shop Inc in Great Neck (Long Island) last week and I think the tint looks great I got 35% all around and 50% on the windshield didn't want to go too dark since my car is black and I have black interior .. Joe did a great job and he's a chill dude he used Solar Gard and he manual cuts every piece and since I had tinted the car before he went through each window again several times with a razor blade and solution to make sure every scrap of tint and glue was removed .. He charged me $300 for everything (Lorenzo in the Bx and the art of tint in Manhattan wanted just $300 for all the windows excluding the windshield) he had to remove the cheap tint I had on before on the back glass too which added to the cost .. he opens up at 6am and has a first come first serve policy and he gets filled up quick I got there around 8am lucky he had just finished doing a g37 and nobody was there but half hour later he had 3 cars waiting lol ... A quick google search would show you a lot of positive feedback about Joe and his work .. O yeah shout out to Motorcepts too

Damn bro. Tinted windshield is crazy. Esp here in NY. I was just pulled over 2 days ago for my windows+no front plate.

 

Is that legal? tinting the front windshield? It looks HOT regardless.......

 

Your windows have to be 70% or lighter and supposely you could have any tint on the back windows but when I get pulled over I don't just get one ticket I get 4 tickets for tints one for each window :/ ... The sun is crazy I open my door after its parked for an hour or two and its like a sauna atleast with the tints its cool in the car
