I like to put tint in my new MY2008, Does 5 series come with tint, if so, what%( 50,35%)?

Which brand is better/best that does not effect electronics, Navi, radio signals, or bluetooth?
Anyone with a particular brand of tint film experienced such problem?

There are different types of tint films in market : Metallic and Non-Metallic, Dyed, Hybrid(metal and Dyed), Ceramic, Huper-optic, formula one etc. Need some advice. Please.

Signals for radio and the integrated navigation (and if you have one, phone cradle) are acquired by the sharkfin. Bluetooth has applications typically within the cabin.

Llumar 35% is what I have. Check out my gallery to see the shade. I've had it on my E39 and my E60. Love it!

I've had some tint film installed looks / feels great but because it's metalic based the keyfob remote has a less of a range than it used to. Something to watch out for! Anyone know how to extend the range?

Formula One is arguably the best tint out there.

Hold the remote to your chin while you press buttons.

yes formula one is arguably the best tint out there, as said by mike. others have said huber-optic is pretty much of the same quality as formula one. i myself have a charcoal dyed tint and was referred to the shop by another member from here. i went with 35% all around. here's the thread that i put up asking about tint in the 1st place and there are pics on the 2nd page of the thread.

pretty much stay away from metallic tints or any tints that include a metal. thats what everyone recommended me. if you decide to get a dyed tint, dont get the gray dyed. i was told that it would be turning purple in the future. good luck with the tint.

Did some research, I talked to some Tint Headquarters and shop guys:
BOTTOMLINE they said "Any Brand is OK as long as it has LIFETIME warranty and has NO Metal"

Yea, formula one has lifetime warranty against fading and cracking. I got my install at the tint pros in hb.
