Does anyone have pictures with a 50% tint? In my state, VA, 50% is the darkest you can use on front windows and I'm concerned it is to light. The state allows 35% on back windows and I'm not sure how a lighter tint on the front with a darker tint in the back would look. Any pics would be appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Here's my car. Same law here in New Orleans. Mine is 50% on the sides anf 40% on the back. Sorry, but it looks dark as the picture was taken in the evening when I got home from work. When I get my car back from the dealer (hopefully today!), I'll take another picture for you in better lighting.

Thanks for the picture the ride looks tight, I look forward to a better picture. I'd go darker but since VA has annual inspections it would never pass. I'm interested to see what it looks like with different % on front and back.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Annual inspections are so lame.
My mom had her Lexus tinted in South Carolina, but recently moved back to Washington DC. They made her get her tint removed when DC did inspection.

that's exactly what I'm worried about, pay to get it in, then at the first inspection, have to remove it. I guess I'll have to go with what the state allows, 50% on front, 35% on rear, just not sure how it will look with different tint front and back, or if I should go 50% to be consistent.

If your state has inspection, then you will NEVER get past it with illegal tint.
Don't use different shades of tint on back doors vs. front doors..... it will look retarded.
Just get 50% Huper Optik tint on the front and back doors, then put 35% on the back windshield. This way you'll get good heat rejection, but be in compliance with local laws. And your look will be consistent.

Don't use different tint on front vs. back doors..... seriously. It looks retarded.
It's fine to go darker on the back windshield.... but the side should be consistent. Even when you use the same level tint on the sides, the front looks lighter because of light entering the car from the front windshield. Having different tint installed will worsen this effect.
