Any suggestions? Should I just remove them and paint it or is there a replacement part? What have other s done?

Your car looks exactly like mine.
Although I got 20% tint all the way around instead.
Leave the front kidney grill "as is". The matte black
really gives it a good look IMO. Don't paint it.
Are you planning on putting black rims on?
I have thought of getting some rims, powder coating
them black, but leaving the lip silver. Am wondering
how that would look....but not sure of what type of rim
to get.

do you have any tips on how to remove the stock grills without breaking the tabs? The bottom and side ones are giving me some trouble
carefully, but forcefully work it loose.

To get the bottom clips loose, stick your finger through the grille and try to press the smaller of the 2 tabs up so it releases. And for the sides get a longer screw driver and push the smaller clip in. You have to do it a few times until it gives. I was also worried about breaking the tabs but got it to work.
I used these posts to get it done:

What's the diff? Even the OEM grilles are just "chrome" coated plastic.
