Hey, got my 2007 530i, what kind of tint do i need to not block the radio transmission. I heard to not get metallic tint, is that correct? Thanks.

I believe when I got mine, they used Llumar Ceramic film- it doesn't interfere with radio transmission.

Besides Llumar, there is Huper Optik, Formula One, and Suntek.

What kind of tint will allow the Valentine 1 to work too? Or optimally?

Huper Optik is the good stuff -- cooler, too.

I have metallic tint, and my Valentine 1 works just fine.

Afaik we have two radio aerials. One in the fin and another in the rear window, which in case you use a metal film is covered and maybe doesn?t work properly.

If the radio signal in the region you are driving is strong enough, the fin alone is enough and you don?t notice your missing rear window aerial.
If the signal is weaker you maybe miss your second aerial.

Can anybody recommend Huper-Optik Tint providers in Northern NJ?

If you have nav you should get the non-metal tint.. other wise its ok to get the half metal one.. V1 works in both of them
