Tint?

My Ride: 2005 Black Sapphire Metallic 545i
I am about ready to call and make an appointment for window tint, 35% all the way around, it's illegal in the fron't windows here in NY and im will to pay the consequences but if any out there have the same law in their state, can you give me an idea of how strict they are?

I have 35% on the side of my car and 15% on the rear and its illegal to have front side windows to be tinted in NJ as well. So far nothing yet 
and hope it stays that way. A few people from NJ here on the board have lower than 35% tints and they have not been stopped either. I know my town gets stricter in their policies as the month ends (quotas- a few people I know got pulled over for speeding 5 mph more than the speed limit 
) So I am probably not going to drive my car around during the last 3-4 days of the month.

I currently have 35% tint on all my windows except the windshield of course and have not gotten pulled over for tints yet (touch wood). From what I have learned, cops have given up on giving tickets on luxury sports sedans. If you have a 50+K car, trust me, they are not going to bother giving you a ticket that is worth $40. I think it would be a different case if you were to hook up your car like a ricer mobile and had neons, spinners, 5% tint all around, and a loud exaust, then I wish you luck going from one end of the street to the other without getting pulled over.
Don't sweat it, 35% tint is almost 'legal'
