Hi fellows,
Been meaning to do these mods for a while now, my front and rear brake discs are in their last legs so i decided to upgrade all the discs, pads, brake fluid and stainless steel brake lines.
Discs: Zimmermann Sport Brake discs
Pads: EBC greenstuff
SS lines: Goodridge SS hose
Brake fuild: Ate
The brakes also been painted with High-Temp paint to get rid of the rusty looking brake
I also changed the standard steering wheel to M5 and painted the peeling trims to silver, the steering wheel feels MUCH MUCH better than the standard, although i havent got time to get the paddle shift work this time (Still need to get my paypal sort out to get Fred's retrofit kit)
Special thanks:
radioham for the M5 steering wheel
Pingu for the brake discs, SS lines!! Cheers mate!
Enjoy:
M5 steering wheel convertion:
Cheers
Keith

Question:
If I have an automatic trans with the DS mode where I can shift +/- ............. will the addition of an M5 wheel allow me to use the paddles without any other modifications on my 2004 530i?

You will have to get the retrofit kit in order to make the paddle shifters work, "my530i" is selling the kit and will get mine from him very soon
