Hi,

Does anybody have any thoughts, or even better first hand experience, with the VIBE CBR12 active sub, as shown here?

I like the idea of having an all-in-one unit rather than separate amp and sub enclosure. I realise the sound quality won't be (or probably won't be?) quite as good as separates, but all I'm looking to do is improve the standard 6-speaker UK stereo, I'm not looking to make the most amazing sound ever.

I also plan to replace the front component speakers and add tweeters, although I am not sure whether or not I need to add an additional amplifier to these or just run some decent quality speakers from the stock amp.

I have the UK standard stereo which is 6 speakers. In the UK we have three version of stereo.... absolutely rubbish (which is mine), not bad (which is equivalent to the US standard stereo), and then pretty good (The L7).

Mins is rubbish, hence the reason for my post. If I had a good sound already, I would not be wanting to add a sub
