Hello, I need help figuring out whether my headlights/angel-eyes/parking lights are Halogens or Xenons. I am wanting to purchase some Lux angel eye replacements. I would like to purchase the LUX H8 189 white bulbs but in the compatibility section it reads "5-series Sedan LCI ( with Xenon)| (2008-2010)". While my second choice bulbs, the LUX H8 Gold, read "5-series Sedan LCI | (2008-2010)" in the compatibility section. I just need to know are these Halogens or Xenons so I can figure out which ones I need to get.

My opinion...Just leave them alone. The headlights in this car have internal wiring that has a chronic problem of insulation flaking off the wires. The more you manipulate the wires -- as in even moving it enough to replace a bulb, the more the wire insulation cracks and can even flake off. It seems worse in hotter climates. Even my always garaged car has this issue.
