I inquired about an Eisenmann exaust at www.mwdesigntechnik.com which seems to be a trusted canadian west coast distributor for many BMW tuning companies such as Hamann, ACS, 3D Design etc. He replied saying,
"As for quad exhausts for the 535, we are trying to verify whether the standard 530 or 550 Eisenmann Quad Systems will fit the 535 - we don't see what the difference in the piping would be between the 530 and 535 but we will have to hear back from Eisenmann before coming to a final conclusion."
Today he emailed me once again saying,
Rocky,
Good morning.
Just an update on the exhaust, the distributors at Eisenmann verified that the piping on the 550 Quad system is identical to the 535. They are just reconfirming if the brackets and etc are identical as well.
Does this sound correct? If so I'm gonna jump on this, I love the sound of the Eisenmann exaust. I'm just wondering how he got such a quick reply, and if it is compatable with the 535 why isn't Eisenmann producing and distributing it everywhere?

That "d" denotes that its a diesel version and from our understanding the piping is different between diesel and petro versions.
I will let you know as soon as we find out.
Thanks!

Is he feeding me BS?
I would think the piping on the 535d would be more similar to the 535xi then the 550.
