Alright, just got my car back and heres the verdict....

The muffler looks and fits great, although I am a little disappointed with the sound. After reading all the threads on here talking about how load it is and all the draoning etc. I was expecting something more. I went expecting the car to be LOAD but its not really, you can just definitely hear it now but its definitely softer sounding then the rogue engineering dms exhaust I had on my e46. So I think I'm going to leave it like this for a bit and maybe think about removing the last resonator to get more volume. Also to my surprise the muffler shop only charged me $40 for install.
the droning from the B&B occurs on the V8. Completely different harmonics from that engine. Also, if you got a brand new one, remember that the sound will get louder as the packing inside the muffler breaks in. Great price for install, I have to shell out $60 every time I go to the muffler shop.

ic I don't mind the sound now but would like maybe a little more, my wife says this is good. I bought it very lightly used so it stillmay get a bit louder.

I installed a custom Borla exhaust a couple months ago. The sound has definitely improved and got a little louder since first installing. I very much like the sound, but am also considering deleting the Y-resonator. I will put a a couple thousand more miles on it before I decide.

I got a really good price on it thats why I went this route, but I know what you mean I feel its missing some "rumble" it sounds nice when idling but as the revs get up it seems to lose volume.

Give it a while before you start toying with it. I'm a pretty big exhaust whore and it can take up to a year for an exhaust to reach its natural tone.
