In planning for my mods, I'm trying to decide on what kind of suspension to get for my car. I want to go aggressive, but I have to cognizant that I will also be driving my wife and child around in it, so it can't be too stiff. Someone recommended getting th eBavarian Autosport Performance Springs because they lower your car, but you don't sacrifice comfort. I know that there has to be some tradeoff between comfort and performance, but trying to get the best of both worlds on this.

Any thoughts or experiences would be great.

you can do the eibach pro-kit springs, I personally have them on as well. they ride a bit more sporty but are closest to stock-like feel. then for shocks it usually comes down between Konis and Bilsteins.

I have eibach pro-kit, very close to oem sports suspension. Not an "aggressive" drop though.
Going to be tough to get a big drop and still have a nice ride.

most comfortable coilovers would be KW V2s in my opinion

+1 It really depends on your budget. But KW is normally the first recommendation I give (especially for Euro's). There are KW's 1, 2, and 3. I think two should be more than enough. You can set your stiff settings yourself with only a few clicks.

PM nigxdoof. he has a great suspension and is adjustable. I think it's the perfect one for you.

+1 KW V2's FTW! Silky smooth ride and adjustable height!

If you are going for springs to save money instead of coilovers, I have the H&R Race, which gives you the nicest drop out there when compared to all the springs out there, more on the aggressive side, IMO. As far as the ride, BARELY stiffer, probably about 10% stiffer, highly recommended.

i too had the same "familiy comfort" concerns as you do and i am totally happy with my KWv2's. it honestly rides better than stock. great thing about it is, you can customize it however you want.....soft vs. stiff. slammed vs. moderate drop.

and it so happens i have the best KW pricing, so if you're interested...PM me.

I had KW V3's and Powerflex bushes all round on my E46, the wife is a bit moany on such things generally but she even commented how it wasn't as bad as she was expecting, the car was setup pretty damn low and it only transmitted the harshest of bumps.
